What to Expect The Launch Quality Engineer will enable flawless launches of next-generation electric vehicles by driving high quality across low-voltage electrical systems, firmware, and related commodities. Acting as the voice of quality from prototype through mass production, you'll lead cross-functional problem-solving, validate system performance, and establish quality controls that enable fast paced launches without compromising safety, customer experience or yield. What You'll Do
Lead quality assurance and improvements for low-voltage systems (12V/48V), ECUs, wiring, connectors, harnesses, and embedded firmware during prototype and launch builds
Drive structured validation plans, control plans, functional testing and inspection standards to assure safety, quality compliance, and launch readiness
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective containment actions and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies
Debug electrical systems (CAN/LIN, diagnostics) and coordinate evolving wire harness specifications and deviations
Establish and track quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across launches
Collaborate with NPI, design, manufacturing, and suppliers to proactively strengthen part and process quality, ensuring robust builds What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experienced in Low-voltage architectures (12V/48V), ECU firmware, Low Voltage hardware testing and electrical diagnostic tools (CAN ape, PCAN Explorer, or PLIN Viewer)
Strong problem-solving capabilities with experience in tools such as FMEA, SPC, DOE, 8D, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
Data mining using SQL, Splunk, Periscope
Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Catia for part drawings and 3D part analysis
Hands-on approach: present at builds, validating parts and firmware on-vehicle
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to lead cross-functional problem solving under tight launch timelines
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10%)

Expected Compensation
$84,000 - $180,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
