Surgical and Vision Care Electrical Test Engineer II Location:
Irvine, CA | Onsite 5 days/week
Contract:
12-Month - Potential Extension or Conversion Support sustaining engineering projects involving electro-mechanical and optical systems for one of our clients to support, manufacturing processes, and product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support manufacturing, testing, validation, and engineering change activities Develop solutions for EOL components and complex production issues Improve product quality, yield, reliability, efficiency, and cost Provide engineering expertise in tooling, materials, fabrication, and assembly processes Lead projects and collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant engineering experience Manufacturing/fabrication experience, preferably in medical devices Experience with electro-mechanical assembly/test, machining, sheet metal, injection molding, pneumatics, fluidics, or optics Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), GD&T, inspection processes, and mechanical design Strong communication and project management skills CAD experience with CREO, SolidWorks, OrCAD Allegro, or Zemax preferred This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required. $83,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
