Job Summary:
We are looking for a contract Electrical/Electronics Engineer with strong experience in Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and EMI/EMC simulation. The role will support high-speed PCB design reviews, simulation-driven design optimization, and development of electrical design best practices. Responsibilities Perform SI simulations for high-speed interfaces, including transmission lines, impedance, insertion loss, return loss, crosstalk, timing margins, and signal quality. Conduct PI simulations to evaluate Power Delivery Network (PDN) performance, target impedance, voltage ripple, resonance, and decoupling effectiveness. Model and analyze vias, connectors, packages, breakouts, capacitors, and other interconnect discontinuities. Review schematics and PCB layouts and recommend improvements to component placement, routing, return paths, grounding, stack-up, and manufacturability. Perform EMI/EMC simulations and analysis to identify and mitigate emissions and susceptibility risks. Evaluate shielding concepts, enclosure designs, and grounding architectures for improved EMC performance. Develop PCB design guidelines and best practices for high-speed digital designs, PDNs, and EMI/EMC mitigation. Participate in engineering design reviews and provide recommendations to reduce electrical and EMC-related risks. Communicate simulation results and recommendations to cross-functional engineering teams. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of relevant Electrical/Electronics Engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and EMI/EMC simulation. High-speed digital PCB design experience. Experience with Ansys HFSS/SIwave, Cadence, CST, Altium, or equivalent simulation tools. Strong understanding of transmission lines, impedance, insertion loss, return loss, and crosstalk. Strong knowledge of Power Delivery Networks (PDN), target impedance, voltage ripple, and resonance. Experience reviewing PCB layouts and schematics. Strong understanding of grounding, shielding, and return-path management. Experience with high-speed interfaces and differential pairs. Ability to optimize PCB designs and provide technical recommendations during engineering design reviews. Refer
