11/1 Join a growing team responsible for supporting mission-critical infrastructure in a high-availability data center environment. This role is ideal for experienced technicians with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills who thrive in fast-paced, uptime-focused operations.Key Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot critical electrical and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment alarms and incidents. Support switchgear, UPS systems, generators, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, pumps, and controls systems. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability. Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades. Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities and track asset performance. Follow all safety procedures, includingOSHA, NFPA
70E, and LOTO requirements.What We're Looking For:
Experience in a data center, critical infrastructure, industrial, utility, healthcare, or other mission-critical environment. Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, backup power systems, and HVAC equipment. Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Experience with commissioning, preventive maintenance, and reliability-focused operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redwood City, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
