RF Antenna Designer Job Summary:
Design, simulate, prototype, and validate RF antennas for wireless products across multiple frequency bands. Work closely with mechanical and hardware engineering to ensure antenna designs are manufacturable and properly integrated with the radio.
Responsibilities:
Design Cassegrain, patch, horn, and BLE antennas Perform EM simulation and optimization using CST Studio Suite Prototype, test, and iterate antenna designs Validate performance in 5-7 GHz and 26-27 GHz bands Interface with hardware engineers to ensure proper radio-to-antenna integration Work with mechanical engineering to ensure manufacturable designs Document designs, simulations, and test results
Qualifications:
Preferred, locations : Santa Clara, CA or Frisco, TX Required, MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Preferred, Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Required, deep expertise in using antenna design tools, such as CST or HFSS Required, deep expertise in designing high gain antennas Preferred, design experience with Massive MIMO array antennas Preferred, PCBA design techniques Required, expertise in using RF test equipment for testing and measurement of antenna performance Experience with antenna measurement and validation Experience taking antenna designs from concept through test and integration
