US Stryker employee benefits. Join a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for developing and implementing advanced manufacturing test solutions for medical device products. This role combines new product introduction, test engineering, process validation, and manufacturing support, working closely with design engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure robust production readiness. The position offers broad exposure to electromechanical systems, automation, and manufacturing technologies across the product lifecycle. What You Will Do Design and implement ICT, functional test, and electromechanical test processes for new and existing products, supporting manufacturing operations both domestically and globally. Execute process verification, equipment qualification, and validation activities, including Gauge R&R, Design of Experiments, and statistical capability analysis to support manufacturing readiness. Develop test fixtures, schematics, instrumentation, and test documentation to improve test coverage, repeatability, and product quality. Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and test issues, collaborating with production teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Partner with design and manufacturing engineering teams to provide design-for-testability and design-for-manufacturing recommendations during new product introduction and process transfer activities.
What You Will Need Required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 8 years of progressive engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or minimum 6 years of relevant engineering experience with a master's degree. Experience developing and implementing PCBA manufacturing test strategies, including in-circuit testing and functional testing. Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand test development environments. Knowledge of process risk analysis, control plans, production approval processes, and equipment qualification methodologies. Experience applying statistical methods, including Gauge R&R and process capability analysis.
Preferred:
Experience in medical device, medical electronics, or automotive manufacturing environments. Experience supporting new product introduction, automation, or advanced manufacturing test programs.
United States of America Pay Ranges:
