  • This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Visa sponsorship is not available for any position Our client, a leader in optical manufacturing and automation solutions, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Operations
  • Engineering department supporting manufacturing and automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. What's the Job? Maintain and support automated manufacturing tools to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process enhancements. Develop business cases and justifications to support automation investments and upgrades. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to deploy automation solutions and ensure ongoing service and support. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, working closely with EHS and Quality teams. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field; Master's preferred. 8+ years of industry experience in automation, controls, or related fields. Proficiency in PLC programming and familiarity with robotics, motion controls, and vision systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications related to optical components.
