We are currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to support our Englewood, Colorado office. Job Duties & Responsibilities Electrical Engineer responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning through final design for projects of advanced complexity under the supervision of a Supervising Electrical Engineer. The Engineer is responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations, studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project. The Electrical Engineer's daily duties may include: Initiates and develops technical calculations, complex studies, and engineering drawings. Prepares, reviews, and approves electrical drawings as required. Conforms to project criteria, applicable codes, and design standards. Use and maintain proficiency in industry-standard engineering software and applications. Required Qualifications Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year ABET accredited college or university. Minimum of 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent. FE (EIT) certificate preferred. Must have an intermediate level of understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection, communications and security systems. Experience in electrical equipment and cable sizing. Working knowledge of Power System Analysis software. Experience in using BIM, Revit, MicroStation, AutoCAD MEP. Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Position may require travel. Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen. DOE/DOD/Army Corp of Engineer project experience Preferred Qualifications PE license or EIT Certification (please indicate in profile)
