You'll play a key role in developing engineering documentation, commissioning machine applications, and providing technical expertise to enhance automation systems. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The Electrical Engineer I will provide technical support to senior engineers, research and develop new electrical systems and components, and troubleshoot/ repair electrical equipment according to Leitner-Poma's requirements. This includes PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors. The Electrical Engineer I may also assist in project management, documentation, and testing procedures. This is a full-time, hourly position hiring at $29.00 - $32.37 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school. Member of professional practice organization, member of local program or committee. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel domestically & internationally at least 25%-30%. Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at high altitudes. Authorized to work in the United States of America. Proficient in the English language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5
years' experience with Microsoft Office. 3 years' design background, including Electrical CAD systems and database management. 2 years' experience in integrated automation/information systems in a manufacturing environment. 2 years' experience with Rockwell Software. 2 years' experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors. Exposure to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70).
