EXPERIENCED
electrical design engineer well versed in commercial construction. Please do not apply if you do not have extensive experience in commercial construction design/engineering. Salary is negotiable and is based on experience and skill set. Potential for hybrid/remote work for the excellent candidate. Responsibilities Utilize AutoCAD and Revit software to create designs and models for commercial building electrical systems, including power risers, lighting and power floorplans, site plans, etc.- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine design concepts.
- Ensure that designs comply with industry standards and codes.
- Generate accurate and comprehensive documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Review and modify existing designs as necessary to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain necessary components and materials for projects.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD software for electrical design. REVIT experience a plus but not required.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, is preferred but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work is absolutely necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Pay:
$95,000.00- $115,000.
