Job Description

Job Description Responsible for testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities in high-voltage substation projects operating in the 110/20 kV and 110/30 kV voltage ranges. Key responsibilities include protection relay testing and configuration, substation commissioning, periodic testing, fault diagnostics, and verification of electrical systems within substations, wind farms, and industrial facilities. Works closely with project managers, designers, site managers, and installation teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Maintains active collaboration with customers and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering and strong technical expertise in power systems. Experience with protection relay testing, high-voltage equipment commissioning, and industry-standard testing equipment such as Omicron is highly valued. Success in the role demands strong customer-facing capabilities, communication and negotiation skills, accuracy, initiative, and a proactive working style. The position involves travel and project-based work across different locations, while also offering flexibility in planning travel schedules. Additional qualifications such as CAD skills, electrical safety certifications, hot work permits, occupational safety training, and first aid certifications are considered advantageous.
