This position will be located on-site at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Melbourne, FL. This position may be filled as either an Associate Signature Management and Survivability Engineer or Signature Management and Survivability Engineer.

Example Roles and Responsibilities:

Develops and integrates advanced technology to reduce the detectability of aircraft in the electromagnetic spectrum Develops and implements predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops, and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests, and integrates specialty materials Works closely with engineers of other disciplines to optimize the integration of this technology on existing and future aircraft

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria.

The candidate must:

Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2027 Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Acoustics Engineering, or other related STEM degree program Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start. Basic Qualifications for a

Signature Management and Survivability Engineer:

Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Acoustics Engineering, or other related STEM degree program Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher Active Secret security clearance or Top Secret security clearance Coursework and/or experience in Electrical Engineering Coursework and/or experience in electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of electromagnetic energy transmission through space and within materials Programming experience in C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages Experience in signature integration, RCS design, analysis, and testing Experience in one or more CAD software solutions such as CATIA, Unigraphics, or NX Ability to use CAE and/or FEA tools (FMS, Patran, Cubit, etc.) Experience with 3D Method of Moments (MoM) such as SENTRi and 3D Physical Optics (PO) codes such as Xpatch Knowledge and ability with RCS data processing tools, such as

•$130,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
