As an Electrical Engineer II, you'll take the lead on developing power, lighting, and low-voltage building systems that directly shape how facilities operate. You won't just support projects—you'll actively contribute to system design, coordination, and execution across a range of commercial and institutional environments. Core Responsibilities Develop construction documents for electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage infrastructure Perform electrical load calculations, lighting analysis, and system sizing in alignment with project requirements Select and specify appropriate electrical equipment based on project type, code requirements, and performance needs Coordinate designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and civil teams to ensure seamless system integration Interpret and apply building codes, NEC standards, and engineering best practices to all design deliverables Support projects through construction administration, responding to RFIs, submittals, and field coordination needs Contribute to design alternatives and value-engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes Maintain accuracy, quality, and timeliness across all assigned project deliverables Collaborate internally to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and support overall project execution
Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering Experience:
3-5 years of electrical design experience within the AEC or building systems environment
Technical Expertise:
Strong foundation in power distribution, lighting systems, and building electrical infrastructure (typically 120V-480V systems) Working knowledge of NEC, building codes, and multi-discipline coordination
Software:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD and Revit Engineering Tools:
Familiarity with SKM, lighting calculation software, or similar analysis tools
Communication:
