This Senior Electrical Engineer opportunity is based in Sanford, FL, working onsite Monday-Friday with a highly collaborative team delivering drone solutions for military and other critical applications. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr.
Electrical Engineer position include:
Demonstrated ownership of multiple electrical design projects (years flexible based on depth of experience). Designed electrical hardware for mobile products with size, weight, environmental, noise, and shielding constraints. Rapid, creative prototyping for new and customized tethered-drone products, with designs transitioning to product development for documentation, testing, and manufacturing. Design power, embedded control, mixed-signal, communications, sensing, and compute electronics. Own schematics, component selection, simulation, PCB development, board bring-up, debug, and verification. Integrate hardware with mechanical systems, embedded software, flight controls, payloads, and customer systems. Make tradeoffs across capability, weight, power, thermal, EMI/EMC, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and schedule. Lead failure analysis; test in the lab, in flight, in environmental evaluation, and in field demonstrations.
Salary:
$120,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
