Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that push the boundaries of electrical engineering and innovation, within the food equipment manufacturing industry Duties Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, schematics, and system integration using CAD software such as AutoCAD. Develop and integrate electrical systems implementation. Conduct root cause analysis on electrical failures or performance issues within complex systems, implementing corrective actions to enhance reliability. Develop control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and automation solutions for industrial applications. Design and review electrical schematics for manufacturing readiness Support manufacturing processes by providing technical guidance on surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, electronics design for surface-mount components, and mechanical integration. Utilize data analysis, and system testing Maintain documentation of electrical system designs, schematics, test procedures, and compliance records aligned with industry standards. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on electrical systems, or related fields. Extensive experience practicing in industrial or manufacturing engineering roles with a focus on electronics design and system integration. Proven expertise is highly desirable. Strong background utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD. Understanding of electrical systems and mechanical knowledge related to electrical installations. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Experience designing control systems with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and knowledge of industrial automation practices is a plus. Familiarity with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks for integrated system modeling; understanding mechanical aspects relevant to electrical component placement is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams; ability to manage project scheduling efficiently while meeting deadlines.
