Electrical Engineer -
Building Systems Location:
Alpharetta, GA We are working with an established Architecture & Engineering firm in the Alpharetta area that is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to its team. This position will focus on electrical design for a variety of building projects, including K-12 schools, retail, mixed-use developments, and other commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience designing building electrical systems and enjoy working alongside architects and engineers from multiple disciplines. Responsibilities Design building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Perform electrical load calculations, equipment selection, and building code research. Prepare electrical drawings, specifications, and construction bid documents. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to meet project requirements and deadlines. Manage design responsibilities across multiple projects simultaneously. Participate in occasional project-related travel, as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably involving building systems. Experience with electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Revit experience is highly preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
