TRC Talent Solutions has partnered with a growing HVAC manufacturing organization headquartered in Duluth, GA to identify a Senior Electrical Engineer for a full-time, fully onsite opportunity. This organization is focused on developing innovative HVAC solutions and continues to invest in new product development, engineering excellence, and advanced technologies to support continued growth and market expansion. Summary The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for the development, enhancement, and sustainment of new and existing products. This role provides electrical engineering expertise across the full product lifecycle, including circuit design, embedded firmware development, product testing, certification, field failure analysis, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing environment and a passion for developing reliable, high-quality products from concept through production. Responsibilities Design and develop new products, including digital and analog circuits, embedded firmware, prototypes, and product testing activities Create and maintain engineering documentation, procedures, specifications, and design records Conduct debugging, validation, qualification, and testing activities prior to production release Design and execute testing procedures while analyzing results to optimize product performance and reliability Provide technical support and product expertise to customers when required Conduct field failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and performance Manage component obsolescence and end-of-life replacement strategies Support product certification and compliance activities and ensure requirements are met prior to release to production Research long-term product quality and reliability through life-testing and data logging initiatives Support manufacturing operations through yield improvement efforts, troubleshooting, and component substitution evaluations Participate in project reviews, business opportunity discussions, product improvements, and competitive product analysis Track and communicate project status updates while managing multiple engineering priorities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline 8-10 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within a manufacturing environment Strong experience with embedded firmware development Strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, testing, troubleshooting, and product development Experience utilizing laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, waveform generators, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and other diagnostic tools Experience with standalone development platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar systems Advanced programming experience with C/C++, Python, and SQL Experience supporting real-time controls, automated data analysis, data logging, GUI development, and database management Proficiency with printed circuit board (PCB) design and circuit simulation software including SPICE Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities Self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization Experience with React Native, Node.js, Android Studio, Xcode, Ubuntu Linux, Arduino/C++, and ESP32 development is a plus TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE). Pay:
$130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
