Job Description Electrical and Instrumentation Nuclear Design Engineer Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Nuclear Design Engineer to support a major power uprate initiative at the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant. This role will be instrumental in executing critical design changes to increase electrical output, with a focus on electrical systems, instrumentation, and control components. The ideal candidate will bring strong nuclear design experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical, field-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and support design efforts for plant modifications related to power uprate, including but not limited to:
- Moisture Separator Reheaters
- Heater Drain Tank Pump Motors
- Setpoint and instrumentation changes Perform and verify engineering analyses and calculations (electrical and mechanical).
