Full Job Description Summary :
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer who is passionate about industrial electrical systems and takes pride in doing solid, dependable work. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of electrical education or technical training who wants to apply their skills in a real manufacturing environment — not just behind a desk. You will work directly under our Electrical Engineering Manager in a collaborative environment that values craftsmanship, problem-solving, and practical engineering. This role includes both office-based design work and daily involvement on the shop floor to support equipment build and troubleshooting. We are looking for a dependable professional who enjoys the work itself, wants stability, and takes pride in being a strong contributor to a small, focused engineering team. Primary Job Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of high-and low-voltage electrical systems for industrial equipment
- Create and update electrical schematics and drawings using AutoCAD
- Support electrical panel design and component selection
- Help wire panels and assist with hands-on electrical assembly when needed
- Spend time on the shop floor troubleshooting and supporting production builds
- Collaborate with engineering, assembly, and manufacturing teams
- Support equipment testing and system verification
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revisions
- Follow UL guidelines and applicable safety standards
- Apply practical problem-solving in real production environments Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of education in electrical engineering, electrical technology, industrial electronics, or related technical field; Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Strong interest in industrial electrical systems
- Comfort working with both high- and low-voltage environments
- Willingness to work hands-on with equipment and wiring
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting mindset
- Reliable, detail-oriented work ethic
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, ERP/MRP software, and Microsoft Office Suite; Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Visio, and SolidWorks is a plus Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Exposure to control panels or industrial wiring
- Knowledge of UL standards and industrial electrical safety
