Controls Engineer

Summary :

Seeking a Controls Engineer to design and execute controls architectures for automated systems, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. 5+ years of experience as a controls software engineer/PLC programmer in automation or automotive industries Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Servo control, electrical design, and machine vision systems (Cognex or Keyence) Extensive programming experience from scratch College degree in engineering-related field or equivalent experience Ability to travel 20-30% across the

US, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica Responsibilities :

Design controls architectures for multi-module automated systems Develop schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, bills of materials Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and ISO quality standards Collaborate with mechanical, assembly, supplier, and production teams to troubleshoot issues Support system installation and validation Mentor junior engineers and guide electricians Contribute to internal standards and project execution plans within schedules and budgets
