This position is offering a pay rate of $41.36/hr, however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. The controls engineer will support the validation of several machine platforms. Primary responsibilities will be supporting data collection runs. These runs are essential for documenting machine performance and verifying intended behavior.

Job Responsibilities:

Assists in creating and following electrical design schedule, from specification concept to system up completion, while keeping to an overall project schedule. Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments. Analyze plant processes, design and implement improvements Troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes. Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls. Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred 0-2 years experience required. Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes Top 3

Skills Required:

Detailed planner Computer skills, Linux is a plus Problem solver Additional Technical Skills Required The expectation is the candidate has knowledge of Ethernet and CAN and is capable of troubleshooting systems. Employee will be required to start data collection and ensure the system is fully functional before beginning data collection. Employee will then be expected to upload the data collected to servers for analysis. Soft Skills Required Communication is very important in these roles. Coordinating schedules will be involved to accommodate the requests. Organization and planning are key attributes to be successful

Pay:

$41.36 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
