• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings
• Assist with design portions of projects related to discipline systems according to code and IMEG standards
• Assist with working within project budgets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations
• Assist with researching resources for commercially available equipment
• Assist with client relations, project design notebook maintenance, and documentation for permanent record files
• Assist with coordinating design and schedule with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers
• Assist with documenting design decisions, meetings, and client instructions promptly while monitoring project design progress
• Assist with reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting a final check
• Assist with preparation and issuance of addendum information
• Conduct periodic job site observations and all other services as required by the contract services agreement What You'll Bring Required Education
• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required Experience Required Skills/Abilities
• Strong interest in design consulting
• Previous exposure to CAD and/or Building Information Model software
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups About the Team
• Industrial support work includes bulk material handling, substations, automation and controls, structural support, and plant infrastructure.
• The team also supports recurring civil and municipal water and wastewater-related scope.

State of Illinois Pay Range:

$22.00-$24.00 per hour The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate's experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.
