Job Description
Job Description Work as part of an integrated engineering team supporting the full life cycle development of advanced digital hardware products. Engineers will translate system requirements into hardware designs, develop and test digital circuit cards and subsystems, collaborate with manufacturing and program teams, troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, and support production, verification, and fielded systems. The role focuses heavily on FPGA-based designs, high-speed digital interfaces, RF and EO processing applications, and delivering mission-critical solutions that support defense and national security programs.

- Design, develop, and test digital hardware products and circuit card assemblies
- Support full product lifecycle activities from requirements and concept development through production and field support
- Create and analyze digital circuit designs and hardware architectures
- Perform schematic capture, integration, verification, and validation activities
- Debug and troubleshoot complex digital subsystems including FPGA- and processor-based designs
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to deliver mission-critical solutions
- Translate system performance requirements into hardware requirements, designs, and test specifications
- Support RF, DSP, controls, embedded processing, data links, and high-speed interface applications
- Participate in documentation, configuration management, design reviews, and engineering best practices

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar engineering discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience OR Master's degree in a related discipline
- Digital circuit design experience, including schematic capture through test and integration
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with digital hardware product design, development, analysis, and testing
Plusses:
(skills/tools/abilities it'd be nice for someone to have, but not required)- Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Experience with FPGA-based systems, embedded processors, and/or high-speed interfaces
- Experience with Cadence Concept, Allegro, Mentor DxDesigner, Expedition, DOORS, ClearCase, and ClearQuest
- Working knowledge of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
- Hands-on prototyping and debugging of complex digital subsystems
