Description:
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer II (Mid-level) with 2-5 years of experience to support the design, development, testing, and sustainment of alternative Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) systems. This role involves working across the full product lifecycle, contributing to system design, integration, and field support in a collaborative, mission-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Support the design and development of alternative PNT systems, utilizing RF signals of opportunity. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test case definition, environment setup, execution, analysis, and reporting. Create and maintain technical documentation such as electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system-level designs. Develop specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electronic components and equipment; support cost analysis and vendor evaluations. Assist in procurement activities, including managing component obsolescence and supporting supply chain considerations. Provide technical support for installation, integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fielded systems. Support system integration, validation, and deployment activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, and manufacturing. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and capability.
Requirements:
2-5 years of relevant experience. Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, signal processing, and power systems. Experience developing and executing test plans and analyzing results. Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks to completion. Knowledge of RF system design, including wireless waveforms and antenna design. Familiarity with tactical waveform standards such as SRW, WNW, ANW2, SATURN, TSM-X, and MUOS. Exposure to networking concepts and protocols. Experience supporting full product lifecycle development (concept through deployment). Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. About
