Job Description Support the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the plant's electrical infrastructure and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. Partner with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to troubleshoot electrical issues, improve system performance, and support capital projects. Assist with preventative maintenance activities, electrical equipment upgrades, and root cause investigations while ensuring compliance with plant safety standards and electrical codes. Provide engineering support for power distribution equipment, motors, drives, utility systems, and facility-related electrical assets. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field 2-3+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Understanding of industrial power distribution systems, including switchgear, transformers, MCCs, motors, and VFDs Experience supporting maintenance, operations, or reliability initiatives within a plant environment Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams Knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards (NFPA 70E, LOTO, OSHA, etc.) Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance and operations teams Experience supporting plant utilities such as HVAC, compressed air, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, or water treatment systems Low/Medium-voltage experience (1kV-35kV+) Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, industrial controls, or SCADA systems Electrical preventative and predictive maintenance experience Project engineering or capital project support experience Energy management or power monitoring system experience Manufacturing experience in life sciences, chemicals, food & beverage, automotive, or heavy industrial environments
