Job Duties:

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, integrate, and commission controls systems for custom automation equipment. This position will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and project engineering teams from concept through installation and startup. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify PLC programs for custom automation equipmentProgram and troubleshoot Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and related control systemsDevelop electrical/control system designs, I/O documentation, and schematicsIntegrate motion control, robotics, VFDs, servos, safety systems, and other automation componentsPerform machine startup, debug, troubleshooting, and commissioningSupport equipment installation and customer site activities as neededWork with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve electrical and controls issuesParticipate in system testing, FATs, SATs, and equipment validation QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field preferredHands-on experience programming Siemens PLCsExperience with Siemens TIA Portal and/or Step 7Experience with Siemens HMIs and industrial networkingExperience with motion control, VFDs, servos, and machine safety Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
