Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee contractor and subcontractor electrical construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, quality standards, contract requirements, and industry requirements. Monitor the quality of electrical installations to ensure all work is completed in accordance with approved plans, ACCIONA QA/QC requirements, applicable codes, and good construction practices. Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical construction activities, supporting contractor coordination, engineering reviews, and resolution of technical issues. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly project meetings while maintaining accurate meeting minutes, logs, and project records. Create, process, and maintain project documentation, including requests for information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, drawings, and construction records. Support tie-ins, energization activities, start-up, testing, commissioning, and turnover to operations to ensure successful project completion. Participate in project demobilization, documentation management, and closeout activities. Monitor safety and environmental compliance, ensuring all personnel and subcontractors adhere to federal, state, local, and company safety requirements. Conduct root cause analyses to identify failure modes, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support project reporting, including daily reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. EIT certification preferred. Experience in renewable energy, utility-scale power generation, or energy facility construction projects preferred. Knowledge of electrical construction practices, codes, standards, and quality assurance/quality control requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with construction management and project scheduling software is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, climb vertical ladders, work at heights, and navigate active construction sites. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to travel occasionally as required to support project needs. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Pay:
$97,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
