Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems within a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical diagnostics, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). They will play a vital role in ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and continuous production efficiency. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters; interpret schematics and blueprints accurately. Repair and replace faulty components in electrical systems, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic systems, and mechanical assemblies. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and equipment status. Conduct welding tasks including stick welding to repair or fabricate parts as needed. Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts safely for access during maintenance activities. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to support troubleshooting and repairs. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and automation systems. Support equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications in accordance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance audits. Skills Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Strong electrical diagnostics skills including troubleshooting electrical systems using voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis tools. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems relevant to industrial environments is highly desirable. Ability to read complex schematics and technical drawings related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving welding techniques such as stick welding. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, and engineering troubleshooting methods. Competence in operating scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks. Mechanical knowledge encompassing industrial mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision measuring instruments. Ability to perform low voltage electrical work safely while adhering to industry standards. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on analysis and diagnosis of equipment issues. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
