Electrical Engineer Baton Rouge, LA | $90,000-$110,000+ Base Depending on Experience Hybrid Flexibility / Relocation Considered We're partnering with a growing building systems design firm that is hiring a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support building design projects across education, municipal, commercial, and institutional markets. This is a strong fit for an engineer who personally produces electrical drawings and enjoys being hands-on with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, panel schedules, one-lines, and construction documents . What You'll Be Doing Design electrical systems for building projects from concept through construction Personally create drawings in AutoCAD and/or Revit Develop one-lines, panel schedules, power plans, lighting layouts, and specifications Design fire alarm, low voltage, communications, security, and access control systems Perform site visits, field investigations, and existing condition reviews Support short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural teams, and clients Review submittals and support construction administration Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and technical priorities What They're Looking For 3+ years of electrical design experience preferred Building electrical systems experience in MEP, A&E, architectural engineering, or building design Strong hands-on AutoCAD drafting/design experience Revit MEP experience is a plus Experience with power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low voltage, panel schedules, and construction documents Why You'll Love It $90,000-$110,000+ depending on experience Hands-on design role with room to grow into greater project ownership Small electrical team where your work has real visibility Collaborative MEP environment with mentorship and growth potential Hybrid flexibility and relocation support may be considered 401(k) match Health insurance support Paid holidays PTO #
