Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Director of Engineering, you'll have significant visibility across the organization and the ability to influence both technical and operational decisions. Job Description Leading electrical sustaining engineering initiatives for commercialized medical device products Troubleshooting manufacturing and field-related product issues and driving root cause investigations Supporting product reliability, quality, and continuous improvement efforts Managing engineering changes, component updates, and obsolescence strategies Partnering with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to improve production performance Supporting verification, validation, and regulatory compliance activities Establishing electrical engineering best practices, documentation standards, and technical processes Serving as the company's primary subject matter expert for electrical engineering matters MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline 6+ years of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry Proven experience supporting released products through sustaining engineering activities Strong troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause investigation skills Experience working within FDA-regulated and quality-driven environments Familiarity with engineering change management and product lifecycle support Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions Comfortable operating in a hands-on, fast-paced startup environment Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices Knowledge of
