Job Description
## Standard Job Description You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team designs, develops and fields precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, delivering high reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that power missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems. What You Will Be Doing As the Circuit Design Engineer you will ensure technical excellence across your assigned tasks, drive those tasks to successful completion, and keep stakeholders fully informed of progress and issues. You'll work closely with production, program, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule hardware.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead supplier technical activities for a subsystem.
- Oversee full product life cycle: design development, milestone reviews, SDRL concurrence, Functional Acceptance Test, Design Verification Test (DVT), and environmental qualification (MIL
STD 810, MIL STD 464
).- Coordinate Functional & Physical Configuration Audits and Production Readiness events.
- Report risks/concerns to Program Manager and Chief Engineer; act as liaison to resolve supplier issues.
- Partner with government counterparts as Lockheed Martin's subsystem representative.
- Drive innovative, affordable, schedule focused solutions while upholding mission and safety requirements.

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Secret clearance is required to start. ## Basic Qualifications- Circuit / Electronic system design experience (Schematic , layout and fabrication)
- Prior experience as lead circuit design engineer
- Experience with circuit analysis with tool like SPICE / LTSpice / PSpice
- Electronic trade analysis experience (communication link budget, bandwidth analysis, power consumption, testability - production test support).
- Electrical team leadership experience ## Desired Skills
- RF Hardware / Electronic Design and integration experience is highly desirable.
- Management experience with multiple engineering discipline like IPT lead is a plus.
- Requirement development, testing, and implementation of complex system.
- RF design experience is a plus
- Knowledge or experience in design for manufacturing and design to cost
- Experience in leading and managing technical team.
- Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
- System architecture experience
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
