Job Description

Broomfield is a machine manufacturing company. This includes transformer winding equipment, generator winders, wire flatteners, trickle machines, dereelers, tensioning devices, custom tooling, as well as wire and cable equipment. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. We value practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of electrical principles. Responsibilities Design end-to-end electrical systems for machines (power distribution, control panels, machine wiring) Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, I/O lists, and BoMs Specify and integrate PLCs, I/O, sensors, actuators, drives, and safety components Support machine build/debug with technicians and mechanical engineering Program, test, and troubleshoot PLC control systems Assist with machine commissioning at customer site Maintain documentation and manage design revisions Provide customer support as needed Required Qualifications 3-5 years electrical engineering experience supporting industrial machinery PLC programming experience including troubleshooting/commissioning, Rockwell preferred. Experience designing electrical panels and producing full electrical documentation packages Strong hands-on debugging skills in a shop/manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN experience Experience with Motion a plus Company's website: Broomfieldusa.com
