Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES
As an electrical engineer for Maritime and Strategic Systems, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for design and test the electrical hardware that supports important customer missions. In this role, youll turn system concepts into reliable, testable components and subsystems while working closely with a collaborative engineering team. What youll experience in the first year:
Requirement Derivation:
Translate high-level assembly requirements or concepts into specific, implementable, and testable hardware requirements
Hardware Design and Prototyping:
Collaborate in the design process to create and prototype hardware items from subsystem designs
Hardware Testing:
Develop and execute a comprehensive verification test plan for standalone hardware items based on derived requirements What you bring to the table:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in deriving detailed hardware requirements and designing hardware from subsystem concepts.
Team Collaboration:
Strong ability to work within a team to achieve design and prototyping goals.
Analytical Thinking:
Capability to identify and propose improvements to hardware items.
Testing Experience:
Experience in creating and executing detailed test plans to ensure hardware functionality and quality.
