Job Description
Your day to day will include but not limited to: Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Install, configure, evaluate and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Develop, write, and de-bug control logic for machine control, make design modifications and improvements to complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Carefully and thoroughly document all control logic work. Keep existing documentation current and accessible to other team members. - date and available to the rest of the Electrical Team Members and that sufficient back-up copies are maintained in a safe location.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced computer skills required including PLC programming. (Experience with Wonderware a plus). Ability to multi-task. Advanced knowledge of motor controls and drives (AC, DC and VFD), PLC and relay-based systems. Able to read and/or create PID drawings and install/implement control devices from engineered drawings. Because this position carries significant responsibility, extended work hours may be required to meet production demands and avoid downtime. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to work in varying seasonal temperatures within an industrial manufacturing environment. 5 years minimum experience in system engineering role.Desired qualifications:
10 years proven working experience in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining applications software and systems controls.
