Job Description

Senior Electrical Engineer D-Riven Engineered Solutions $101,000 - starting pay ✈ 60-80% Travel Nationwide Full-Time Lead Industrial Power Projects Across the U.S. D-Riven Engineered Solutions is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in industrial power distribution, electrical design, and field project execution . In this role, you'll lead projects from assessment and design through installation and commissioning while working with customers, electricians, project managers, and engineering teams nationwide. What You'll Do Design and support industrial power distribution systems Conduct site surveys and electrical infrastructure assessments Develop one-line diagrams, electrical drawings, and installation plans Support electrical system upgrades, relocations, and new installations Ensure compliance with NEC, safety standards, and customer requirements Lead electricians, superintendents, and subcontractors during project execution Assist with project planning, equipment selection, and resource coordination Troubleshoot electrical systems and support startup and commissioning activities Support arc flash studies and electrical safety initiatives What We're Looking For ✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field ✔ Master Electrician Certification and Journeyman Electrician License ✔ 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial electrical construction, maintenance, or power distribution ✔ Experience with Autodesk Electrical or similar design software ✔ Strong knowledge of: Industrial Power Distribution Electrical Design NEC Codes Arc Flash Safety Industrial Controls ✔ Ability to travel 60-80% throughout the U.S. Travel & Benefits✈ Travel Requirements & Support This position requires 60-80% travel nationwide , typically in trips lasting 2-3 weeks at a time . You'll work directly with customers on exciting industrial power distribution and electrification projects across the United States. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future. What are your compensation expectations for this role? Do you own and maintain a vehicle that is reliable and suited for interstate travel? Do you own and maintain a basic set of hand tools (wrenches and sockets, screwdrivers, etc)? Possess mastery of use of electrical equipment and hand tools including: manual pipe benders, electric/hydraulic pipe benders - bending pipe up to 4", knock-outs, unistrut shears, cable cutters and crimpers, wire feeders and tuggers, multimeters? Can you work nights and weekends/variable schedules and additional hours if necessary? Do you have 10+ years of combined experience in electrical engineering, industrial electrical installation or maintenance or equivalent field? Experience in operating aerial lifts, forklifts and other powered equipment? Do you hold a Master Electrician certificate and associated journeyman electrician license? Are you willing to travel frequently (60-80%) for extended periods of time (2-3 weeks) and complete work nationwide?
