Position:
Controls Engineer Position Description:
Controls Engineers are primarily responsible for: Control system design, layout, and implementation Working with the NewWay team to design, build, startup, debug & validate projects Critical communication with supervisors, peers and customers Ensure best practices are being used Controls Engineer Candidates should possess understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical principals. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of machine building or electrical/panel building experience, and be able and willing to continue building as NewWay grows. A strong ability to problem solve is desired.
Desired training and experience:
3-5 Years as a Controls Engineer Must be proficient in
PLC & HMI
programming Must be detail orientated Must be able to specify pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical components and devices Must be able to work as a team, but also be self motivated Must have basic knowledge of OSHA rules & regulations Must have pride in what they design/build

$40.00 - $60.00 per hour
