Electrical EngineerLocation:
Kalamazoo, MI Responsibilities:
Design electrical systems for various projects using Autocad MEP software. Perform calculations and design electrical systems for projects of all sizes. Perform Arc Flash analysis for systems of all sizes. Create plans, schematics, make equipment selections, load calculations, systems narratives and specifications. Conduct field surveys and site evaluations. Coordinate with other consultants, clients, and contractors to resolve issues and provide technical information/solutions. Discuss and provide feedback on equipment selections with manufacturers reps and project managers. Research and analyze design specifications, manuals and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost and maintenance requirements of designs. Review applicable design standard requirements, codes and regulations as they relate and impact design development. Complete assignments in a timely manner required to meet deadlines. Occasional (domestic) travel to local job sites.Qualifications:
