Direct Hire Opportunity Overview Our growing customer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and support LED-based lighting products for machine vision applications . This hands-on role will own electrical hardware design from initial concept through production release while partnering closely with mechanical engineering, software, optical, test, and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with analog and digital circuit design, PCB development, LED technology, and bringing hardware products from design through manufacturing . Key Focus Electrical Hardware Design | LED Lighting Systems | PCB Design | Analog & Digital Circuits | Machine Vision | Product Development What You'll Do Design, develop, and support LED-based lighting products for machine vision applications Create analog and digital circuit designs including LED drivers, power conversion, signal conditioning, and control interfaces Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCad Support electrical hardware development from concept through production release Select components and define circuit architectures while balancing performance, lifecycle, availability, and cost requirements Apply signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI design practices to improve product performance and reliability Perform thermal analysis and develop solutions for high-output LED systems Troubleshoot circuit performance issues and perform failure analysis Develop BOMs, work instructions, and technical documentation to support manufacturing Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, optical, test, and manufacturing engineering Support product improvements and engineering changes throughout the product lifecycle What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Associate degree with relevant experience considered 7+ years of electrical hardware design experience preferred Experience taking electrical designs from concept through production release Strong background in circuit design, PCBA layout, and design for manufacturability, cost, and performance Experience with analog and digital electronics, LED drivers, power electronics, and electronic components Knowledge of thermal management techniques and high-output LED systems preferred Experience troubleshooting circuits and performing electrical failure analysis Understanding of EMC/EMI considerations and compliance-focused design practices Ability to use laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, DMMs, and thermal imaging tools Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
