Niles, MI /
South Bend, IN Area Travel:
Some domestic and international travel We're looking for a Controls Engineer who enjoys working on complex automated manufacturing and welding equipment. If you have experience with Siemens TIA Portal , Allen-Bradley PLCs, or industrial machine controls and like taking projects from concept through startup and commissioning, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC and HMI systems Support clean-sheet machine designs and equipment upgrades Create and update electrical schematics, panel layouts, and controls documentation Debug, commission, and improve automated manufacturing equipment Apply ANSI and ISO machine safety standards Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality solutions What We're Looking For Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and/or Allen-Bradley PLCs Hands-on machine startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience Ability to read and create electrical drawings and controls documentation Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Self-motivated team player who enjoys learning and growing technically Strong communication and organizational skills Eligible to work permanently in the U.S. and support an ITAR-regulated environment This opportunity is ideal for a controls professional—or someone looking to become a controls expert—who enjoys solving challenging automation problems and working around highly engineered manufacturing equipment..
