Our client, an industry leader in facilities management and building automation, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be an essential part of the Facilities Maintenance department, supporting the seamless operation and optimization of building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, aligning well with the organization's commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation.

$42 to $44 Per hour What's the Job? Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation systems, PLCs, and control systems to ensure efficient facility operations. Respond to and resolve preventive maintenance tasks, work orders, and service calls promptly and effectively. Manage building management systems, including Tridium platforms, coordinating with contractors to ensure proper functionality. Create and maintain backups of PLC, HMI, and VFD software parameters monthly to ensure system integrity. Provide emergency after-hours support for critical systems as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. What's Needed? Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and building automation systems. Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting, especially with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms. Experience with building management systems, particularly Tridium platforms, and familiarity with VFDs, HMI, and SCADA applications. Maximo CMMS experience and proficiency with Corrigo work order management system are required. What's in it for me?
