Assist in Electrical Power Steering (EPS) system and software development which includes, but is not limited to, the following activities. Software and calibration update activities to support customer samples, vehicle testing, validation, and production. Assist in EPS trouble shooting activities using CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, oscilloscopes, and custom-made software tools like eTool, eCalNet. Assist in updates to requirements as a part of the development lifecycle. Assist in the creation of DFMEAs, Design Reviews, and validation plans. Assist with analysis and communication regarding defects, software changes, samples, validation updates, and much more. Assist with vehicle logistical needs. Support EPS software development & release activities with system bench & vehicle evaluations. Attend Internal Product Development Team meetings. Assist in the creation of electrical harnesses, breakout boxes, and connectors for controllers.Job Requirements:
Candidate must be attending a 2-year college or 4-year university local to Saginaw. Candidate must be studying Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Candidate must have a cumulative 2.7 GPA on a 4.0 scale Candidate must have the ability to work 20-32 hours per week during the Fall and Winter semesters and up to 40 hours in the summer Candidate must be a full-time student (12 or more credits) during Fall and Winter semesters Candidate must have right to work in the US and not require current or future sponsorship Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Candidate should be highly motivated with strong communication skills and a desire to work with people in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience:
