Bloomington, MN Compensation:
$90,000-$140,000 annually - paid weeklySchedule:
4-day workweek | Monday-Thursday | 10-hour shifts (between 6:00am-6:00pm)Job Type:
Direct Hire | Full-time About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a long-standing, family-owned tools and equipment manufacturer in Bloomington, MN to hire an Electrical Engineer. In this role, you'll support new product design, guide engineering initiatives, and help develop high-quality, American-made products used around the world. - Lead planning, design, and development of electrical tools, machines, and accessories for industry markets
- Evaluate project progress, establish milestones, and oversee complex design activities
- Create test plans, perform testing, and provide advanced production support
- Design product specifications and convert concepts into production-ready documentation
- Collaborate with vendors to verify component specifications and dimensional accuracy
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials and update documentation through change processes
- Support new product development through departmental and stage-gate reporting What You Need to Bring to the
Electrical Engineer Role:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5-8 years of progressive new product design experience
- Strong understanding of the new product development process
- 3D CAD proficiency
- Experience with low-voltage PCBA, circuit design, and electronic design automation
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to read and write in
EnglishPreferred:
- Infor ERP experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- SolidWorks, DBWorks, or Enterprise PDM experience
- EDA software library setup experience
