Day:
Insight Global is seeking an Operating Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a Class A facility. This individual will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and automation/control systems, and respond to equipment issues to ensure facility reliability and uptime. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience working with building systems, and the ability to identify and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.Shift:
6am-2:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, must be able to work Saturdays if neededOT:
50 hr weeks, more available if wantedCompensation:
$28-$31/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law. - HS diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with preventative maintenance on cooling & heating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting experience within automation/controls.
- Experience working with electrical systems & voltage.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience at tech school or relevant certificates.
- Background in Class A high facility center.
- HVAC experience with generator awareness.
- Familiarity with monitoring medium‑voltage electrical systems (13,800V).
