Job Overview:

Role is responsible for supporting the R&D department by participating in electronic design activities, building/testing prototypes, preparing tests, and performing Engineering analysis to ensure designs meet requirements. Also provides drafting/modeling and document management support, participates in prototype builds, installation and setup testing, production support, and other tests to ensure durability. Highlights of your role:

Design and problem-solving activities: Work with engineers and designers to troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems and help design a solution to resolve identified issues.

Automation:

Develop automated testing setups and job aids.

Documentation:

Capability to create technical summary reports and test documentation.

Circuit Board Design:

A basic understanding of circuit board and firmware design.

Product Knowledge:

Become intimately familiar with our current electronic products and they are implemented into our fenestration products.

Other functions:

Product installation and setup testing, production support, soldering of small electronics with high quality a plus, Ability to read and comprehend engineering systems requirements documents You're a good fit if you have (or if you can): Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required. Compensation:

$70,000 to $90,000 annually
