St. Louis, MO Job Details Contract 3 hours ago Qualifications Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Job Purpose This 3-6-month contractor position located in Morgantown, WV, and specializes in support, design, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of legacy and modern Foxboro I/A platforms. This role requires a high level of communication and coordination with team members as well as clients. Duties and Responsibilities Provides technical expertise, system maintenance, and lifecycle support for Foxboro I/A environments. Ensures system availability, optimizes process control strategies, and performs hardware/software upgrades. Troubleshoots complex automation, networking, and hardware issues. Completes routine backups, system health checks, software patch management, and disaster recovery execution. Assists in planning and executing system migration, hardware lifecycle replacement, and software updates for Foxboro I/A infrastructure. Work with plant operations, electrical maintenance, and external vendors to address control challenges. Perform troubleshooting for power equipment in the field. Participate in team and group meetings. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of hands-on industrial automation experience, with proven focus on Foxboro I/A programming and troubleshooting. Knowledge of power infrastructure design. Ability to accurately interpret and critically evaluate design drawings, schematics, and systems. Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain quality service while under pressure. High level of conscientiousness and attention to detail. Experience working in a factory environment. Ability to work alone or within groups as necessary. Strong work ethic. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency in PDF reader/editing software (Bluebeam). Travel Willingness and ability to travel as needed. This position is located on-site in Morgantown, WV.
