Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Electronics We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of advanced power conversion and power control solutions used in demanding industrial and technology-driven applications. This is a hands-on role that combines technical leadership with product development, offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to bring innovative products from concept through production. In this position, you will lead electrical engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, including requirements definition, circuit design, schematic development, component selection, power supply design, prototype development, and validation testing. You will utilize engineering analysis and simulation tools to support design decisions, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. The role includes debugging and testing prototypes, developing verification test procedures, troubleshooting design challenges, and communicating directly with customers to ensure solutions align with application requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience designing power conversion products, including switch-mode power supplies (SMPS). Experience with circuit simulation and analysis tools such as PSpice, Mathcad, or similar platforms is required. Strong knowledge of power electronics, EMC/EMI mitigation, and product development processes is highly desirable. Experience with regulatory compliance standards, battery management systems, or embedded control circuits is a plus.
