Full-Time About the Opportunity We're working with a rapidly growing AI infrastructure company that operates one of North America's largest high-performance computing facilities. This is an opportunity to join the operations team supporting a 350MW mission-critical data centre , helping maintain the electrical infrastructure that powers next-generation AI technology. You'll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of critical electrical systems, ensuring maximum uptime across a highly resilient facility. Responsibilities Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems. Diagnose and repair faults across critical infrastructure. Operate and maintain switchgear, UPS systems, generators, transformers and associated equipment. Carry out switching operations in accordance with site procedures. Complete inspections, testing and equipment rounds. Respond to alarms and support emergency response activities. Update maintenance records using CMMS. Work closely with mechanical, controls and operations teams to maximise facility reliability. Follow all electrical safety procedures, LOTO requirements and company policies. What We're Looking For Experience maintaining industrial or mission-critical electrical systems. Background within data centres, manufacturing, utilities, power generation, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, semiconductor, commercial facilities or similar critical environments.
Experience with equipment such as:
Switchgear UPS systems Generators Transformers MV/LV electrical distribution Electrical panels and breakers Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a shift team. Preferred Journeyman Electrician or equivalent electrical qualification. Experience within critical facilities or data centres. Experience using CMMS systems. Knowledge of NFPA 70E, LOTO and electrical safety standards.
