Job Description Senior Electrical Engineer - RF / Analog Design An outstanding technology company in Northern New Jersey is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This is a key position created due to continued expansion and the development of new products. The successful candidate will play an important role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems while contributing to the growth and technical excellence of the engineering organization. Responsibilities include the design and development of RF assemblies, analog and mixed-signal circuits, including ADCs, DACs, and power supply circuitry. The engineer will be responsible for creating detailed schematics and overseeing the layout of complex high-frequency printed circuit boards. Additional duties include designing test fixtures, supporting prototype bring-up and testing, troubleshooting hardware issues, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management. This is a hands-on individual contributor role offering significant technical responsibility. The selected candidate will also provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers, helping to strengthen the capabilities of the engineering team. Qualifications:
BSEE or MSEE required.
5-10 years of experience designing and developing complex electronic systems.
Strong background in RF and microwave circuit design.
Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including ADCs, DACs, and power supply architectures.
Expertise in schematic capture and high-frequency PCB design and layout.
Strong laboratory skills with experience using RF and electronic test equipment.
Experience designing test fixtures and supporting prototype evaluation and validation.
Ability to analyze system-level tradeoffs, identify technical risks, and develop effective engineering solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams.
Experience mentoring, training, and supporting the development of less experienced engineers. Why is This a
