Hourly Job Summary:

Seeking a Construction Supervisor to provide oversight to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Technical Recommendations:

Offer technical recommendations on electrical activities during construction.

Electrical Work:

Experience with Battery and Electrical. Oversee low and medium voltage work, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

Verification:

Ensure that all electrical work meets the required standards and specifications.

Safety Oversight:

Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful and safe execution of the electrical components of the BESS project at Sagamore Wind Farm. Working with contractors to ensure technical and safety oversight. Oversight of the day-to-day field activities. Ensuring that everything is wired and working properly. Interacting with several different folks including all of the EPC contractors which may be up to 20 people, however, may be more during the final phases of the project. In addition, this resource will be working with 3 to 4 other construction managers who are onsite on a daily basis. Work hours/shift 50-hour work week. 7 AM - 5:30 PM.

Qualification:
Electrical Experience:

7-10

Years of Experience:

Extensive experience with low and medium voltage electrical work. Specific experience within the Civil and Electrical discipline for solar construction is nice to have.

Safety Expertise:
Safety Champion:

Must prioritize and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.

Electrical Engineering Degree:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred, though not required. These skills and qualifications are crucial for ensuring the successful execution and oversight of the electrical components of the Sagamore BESS project. Strong communication, positive attitude. Highly collaborative. 7-10 years of experience/ electrical inspector. Great to see previous EPC experience from Mortenson, Blattner construction. Or owners' rep side experience; National Grid, Nexterra, Duke Energy, etc. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred. 7-10+ years of combined experience in Electrical and Civil engineering. Solar experience is nice to have
