Job Description
Basic Purpose Provides Power Plant Engineering support to day-to-day operations, and maintenance activities. Also, provides technical support for plant asset management. Essential Education, Skills, and Environment Education and Work Experience Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in engineering and 1-3 years' experiences with generating plant operations. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of generating plant operations, maintenance and training; and knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. Engineering knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Equipment and Applications PCs, word processing, analytical tools, spreadsheet and database software. Work Environment and Physical Demands General office and plant environment at an operating power plant. Some overnight travel required.
